Extend subscription renewal dates from the dashboard and API

You can now extend eligible store subscriptions directly from the Customer Profile or through the API. From the dashboard, open a customer, click the subscription menu, and choose Extend subscription to move the renewal date without issuing refunds or manual workarounds.

Apple App Store subscriptions can be extended for 1 to 90 days. Apple allows up to two extensions per customer each year and notifies the customer by email. You’ll select a reason for the extension, such as customer satisfaction or a service issue, and the customer won’t be charged for the added time. In sandbox, days map to minutes for faster testing.

Google Play supports subscription deferrals for 1 to 365 days. Customers aren’t charged, and Google doesn’t send an automatic notification. Both Apple extensions and Google deferrals are also available via the API, so you can automate support workflows and handle edge cases at scale.
